Climate Program Socialization in Cempaka Putih Intensified

Climate village program is re-held today at the Cempaka Putih Sub-district, Central Jakarta. It is attended by 50 participants of RT, RW and locals.

We want this program to continue to be promoted to create a new climate village spot

Central Jakarta Economic and Development Assistant, Bakwwan Ferizan Ginting stated that it is held to intensify climate village and anticipate the impacts of climate change and the greenhouse effect.

Each RW in North Jakarta Targeted to Have Climate Village

"We want this program to continue to be promoted to create a new climate village spot, especially in urban village," he expressed, Monday (10/22).

Of 44 climate village spots, 29 out of them are active. Therefore, socialization must be intensified in each sub-district.

Cempaka Putih Sub-district Head, Andri Ferdian added that his region already has three active climate villages. They are in RW 01 and 08, Rawasari Urban Village and RW 10, Cempaka Putih Barat Urban Village.

"Hopefully every urban village can have climate village, we will also continue to seek new spots," he stated.
